Pay a dog fine

When you need to pay your fine

You have to pay the amount on your infringement notice within 56 days of the notice date, unless you write to us to dispute it.

See Dispute a dog fine.

If you haven't written to us or paid your fine on time, we lodge the infringement with the Department of Courts. They have the authority to enforce the fine and impose extra costs.

How to pay your fine

You can pay by Visa, MasterCard, Online EFTPOS or Account2Account (bank transfer).

A card payment fee of 1.75 per cent applies for credit and debit card payments.

Pay online through our online services. You will need your infringement notice number.
