About the Sport and Recreation Regional Programme Grant

This grant supports regional programmes that help Aucklanders live healthy and active lives. It focuses on improving access to sport and recreation, particularly for communities that face barriers to participation.

We will assess your application and decide how much funding we can contribute.

Our regional programme grant will support applications that:

• provide affordable and accessible options for participation in sport and recreation
• ensure our diverse communities enjoy healthy and active lifestyles
• help children and young people learn skills so they can enjoy sport and recreation for life.

The core purpose of the grant is to support sport and recreation programmes of regional scale or significance.
