You need a fundraising licence if you want to fundraise in a public place.

Fundraising includes asking for donations, collections or subscriptions.

You must be a registered charity to fundraise in a public place.

Before you apply you will need:

your registered charity number if you plan to fundraise on public land
a description of any products you might be offering in exchange for donations (such as stickers).
the locations you want to fundraise from - you may request all locations or choose from the pre-approved collection sites:
