Starts at 22 Spinnaker Drive, Te Atatu Peninsula
A walking path along the edge of the Waitematā Harbour, with wide-open spaces, panoramic views of Auckland and the Waitematā Harbour, and bracing sea air.
Start at Spinnaker Strand and follow the path south.
The path is a mix of soil, gravel and boardwalk paths. It's mostly flat and is suitable for prams.
You might be able to spot native birds including dotterel, pūkeko and tōrea (oystercatchers).
Finish at Harbourview Beach Reserve, and enjoy the picnic area with views of the Waitematā Harbour, Auckland city and Auckland Harbour Bridge.
Public toilets are located at Harbourview Beach Reserve.
