A number of regional parks have areas appropriate for wedding ceremonies and photos.

Located at 6 Henderson Valley Road, Henderson, this is a tranquil Japanese style garden donated by our sister city Kakogawa.
You can book the venue in the weekend and public holidays from 7am to 9 pm.

Bethells Road, Te Henga offers the rugged west coast experience.
Alderman Drive, Henderson (bush and stream setting).
There is an open grassed peninsula bounded by the Henderson and Oratia streams at the rear of the swimming pool and the Henderson Library complex.

This is a picnic site with mature trees and bush alongside the Oratia Stream where the stream flows over and around a rocky outcrop.
Rankin Avenue, New Lynn (tree setting).
This area is flat and used to be a display area of the many types of clay bricks produced by the old brick works in New Lynn.
The brick walls still remain with several large trees dominating the site.
Glendale Road, Glen Eden (bush and tree setting).
Large mature trees dominate this small site, with a pathway linking through to Lucinda Road.
This area is flat with a small stream on the northern boundary.
Harbourview Road, Te Atatu Peninsula.
The reserve offers views over Waitemata Harbour towards the Auckland Harbour bridge and Auckland city.
You can access the reserve at the end of Harbourview Road, and there is also an entrance opposite Gloria Avenue, on Te Atatu Road.
Wilshire Crescent, Henderson (bush setting).
This is a large reserve with many mature trees and bush areas around the perimeter and alongside the Henderson Stream.
A bark track is located along the top of the stream.
Kelvin Crescent, Te Atatu Peninsula.
A reserve with a small sandy beach with views over the Waitemata Harbour, towards Auckland city.
Ideal at high tide.
Luckens Road, West Harbour (scenic outlook and bush).
This reserve has views down the Waitemata Harbour.
There is a grove of large pine trees with small plantings underneath.
Entrance on Moire Road.
The track is the main access to an area of native bush and a stream cascading over a rocky outcrop.
There are two areas alongside the track with access to the stream.
Henderson Valley Road, Henderson (bush setting).
Mature trees are located along the top of a bank of the Henderson Stream.
Swanson Road, Swanson (bush setting).
Mature native bush alongside an open grassed area with large trees.
This is a quality bush block used for many feature films.
Huia Road, Laingholm (bush and tree setting).
An open, grassed, area with mature trees sloping down to a small stream.
Claude Brooks Drive, Off Edmonton Road, Henderson.
This is a large park on the shores of the Henderson Creek, with many mature trees. There is also the historical jetty.
Ideal at high tide.
Central Park Drive, Henderson.
The esplanade reserve on the shores of the Henderson Creek has some wonderful trees and vegetation, and the Chris Timms Jetty over looks the Henderson Creek.
Access is via gate entry 3, with a walkway between sports fields 2 and 3.
