What the Transport and Infrastructure Delivery Committee does
The Transport and Infrastructure Delivery Committee is responsible for planning, delivering and monitoring all transport-related work in Auckland.
The committee also monitors the construction and delivery of:
- the City Rail Link
- stormwater management
- urban development projects.
According to the Local Government (Auckland Council) (Transport Governance) Amendment Bill, Auckland Council will become:
- the Road Controlling Authority
- responsible for all other transport functions.
