What is a fast-track approval?
A fast-track approval is a new way to get an important project approved.
The Fast-track Approvals Act 2024 allows one application to cover multiple approvals. It aims to make the approval process easier for projects with national and regional importance.

The council does not make decisions on a fast-track application. An expert consenting panel appointed by the EPA makes all the decisions. However, we play an important part in the process.
