Licensing Trust member
Time commitment
3-10 hours per month.
Current monthly pay
Licensing trust members receive payment per meeting only. There is no annual allowance entitlement.
$200 to $1020 per month (prior to the 2022 local election and may change in early 2025).
You should know
Remuneration for elected members is set by the independent Remuneration Authority and varies according to the size of the area they represent, and their role.
Each year on 30 June, the Remuneration Authority makes a new determination that sets the remuneration for the next year.
Elected members are self-employed and must pay Accident Compensation Corporation levies.
