Proposed reserve revocation of part 331 Great North Road

​Pursuant to section 24 of the Reserves Act 1977, Auckland Council hereby notifies its intention to revoke the reservation of local purpose (esplanade) reserve over part of the land described in the
schedule to this notice, situated at 331 Great North Road, Henderson.

It is proposed to revoke the reserve status of a small portion of the reserve because part of the adjoining Council-owned car park is encroaching.

The council is currently using part of the esplanade reserve as parking, and intends to revoke the reserve status of approximately 348m2 of the property to align the boundary with current practice.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed revocation of reserve land may do so in writing and addressed to Auckland Council, Private Bag 92300, Auckland 1142, Attention: Property Review Team no later than 5pm on 23 August 2021.

Any objector's information provided to the Council will become subject to the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 and may be released by the Council under that act. The
