Fire permit application and renewal

Fire and Emergency New Zealand is now responsible for:

• setting regional fire seasons
• issuing or renewing fire permits
• addressing fire hazards on private properties
• general fire safety complaints.

You will need to go to the Fire and Emergency New Zealand fire permit website to check your current fire season and apply for a fire permit.
