Enjoy a scenic walk along the West Harbour coastline to the Hobsonville Marina.
Start on Mansion Court. You can also start the path at the marina, though car parking may be limited (particularly in summer). Skip the car altogether and catch a ferry from downtown Auckland. There are many options to connect to this path from the neighbouring housing areas.
The concrete path has a few slopes and is a good walk to bring along the pram. You'll walk through sections of regenerating forest, and catch some great views of the upper Waitematā Harbour and Auckland city skyline.
Enjoy spectacular harbour views at the marina, as well as local cafes, restaurants and shops. This is a good spot to watch an early morning sunrise.
On your return, spend some time at Luckens Reserve. There is a good off-leash dog area, a children's playground, toilets, skate park and grassy areas to enjoy a picnic.
