About the path

Take a ride around two separate parks close to each other.

In Archibald Park, enjoy riding alongside the Whau River. There's plenty of opportunities to stop at picnic tables or play on the adjoining sports fields.

There is a great playground in Onewherowhero / Brains Park, particularly suitable for younger children.

Both parks have good car parking. For Onewherowhero / Brains Park, enter the car park off Tamariki Avenue. For Archibald Park, parking is at the end of Archibald Road, next to the park.

There are two short sections of the route on local streets, which will help you get used to sharing the road with vehicles. Take care on these parts of the path.

The path in Onewherowhero / Brains Park is not as wide as in Archibald Park and suits a slower speed. The connection between Kiernan Place and Aronui Terrace keeps you off the road but does have a short, steep section.
