About the path
A pleasant stroll connecting Albany Village, and taking in Lucas Creek and local scenic reserves.
Start your walk outside the Albany Village Library - there are good car parks along Kell Park.
Kell Park is worth exploring - you will find a small children's playground and flying fox, remnants of an old orchard and interesting timber sculptures, and a tall bridge offering great views across Lucas Creek.
Make you way down to the stream and continue south through the reserve and past the basketball court until you reach Albany Highway.
Follow the separate walking path on Albany Highway for a short distance, then turn right into Wharf Road. At the end of Wharf Road, turn right and walk along the grass path along the Albany Creek Esplanade Reserve. If the grass is muddy, use the alternative route of Landing Drive.
The esplanade pathway connects up to the concrete path through The Landing, and back to Albany Village. This reserve has an off-leash dog exercise area.
This walk also connects with the nearby Gills Reserve and Hooton Reserve.
