Weymouth Walkway

Description of the Weymouth Walkway

The walkway in Weymouth Park offers views of Manukau Harbour and Puhinui Creek.

Several tracks lead you down gravel paths or steps to the beach, where you can explore the rock pools and observe coastal birdlife.

The upper reaches of the inlet feature mangrove forest and views across the landscape of the Puhinui Reserve.

There are many ideal spots for picnics.

Dogs have to be under control on the walkway.

Dogs are prohibited on sports fields or near children's playgrounds.

Dogs must not disturb wildlife or park users.

How to access the Weymouth Walkway

Start from Roys Road in the south and finish at Hanford Place on the shores of Puhinui Creek.
