Where you can paraglide

Shakespear

Paragliding is permitted on the park in certain areas.

In northerly winds, the Army Bay hill next to Whangaparāoa Road is a popular spot. In southerly winds, the hill in the middle of Te-Haruhi Bay is more suitable.

Our tip

There are power lines running over the park.

You need to check your flying areas for all potential hazards to yourself and others.
