Craw CSC overnight parking area at Anawhata, Waitākere Ranges Regional Park
Designated concrete parking area located just inside the gate from Anawhata Road at the Craw Campground and Craw Homestead.
For NZS5465 certified self-contained (CSC) campervan or motorhome only with a maximum of one vehicle per booking.

We have closed large sections of the Waitākere Ranges to prevent the spread of kauri dieback.
When you visit our parks you need to clean your footwear and equipment to avoid transferring disease from one area to another.

Directions and access
Drive approximately 7.2km along Anawhata Road. Drive with care - the road is metal, narrow and windy, and is not suitable for long vehicles.
Main park gates are open from 6am to 9pm during daylight savings hours and 6am to 7pm during non-daylight saving hours. You will need a combination code to open the locked access gate - we will send you the combination code with your booking confirmation.

Bookings can only be made six months in advance. Availability refreshes at midnight daily.

No water available - vehicles must be self-contained.

Rules
Dogs, other animals and pets are prohibited at all times.
Your campsite must be clean and tidy during your stay, and when you leave.
No bins or rubbish disposal facilities. Take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
You may only stay in certified self-contained (CSC) vehicles at this site. It must have a current NZS5465 Certified Self-Containment Certificate from Ministry for the Environment.
Motorhomes, campervans, caravans, 5 wheelers and buses must not be longer than 7m.
You may not stay in tents or portable container dwellings.Fires prohibited at all times.
