Whenuapai Structure Plan
We are updating the 2016 Whenuapai Structure Plan to meet our current policies and strategies. We expect to adopt the updated plan in early 2025.
About the Whenuapai Structure Plan
The updated Whenuapai Structure Plan will provide a framework to transform Whenuapai from a semi-rural environment to an urban community over the next 10 to 20 years.
We will use the updated plan to guide the future growth of Whenuapai.
The plan will set out:
- how we will use land in the area
- what infrastructure is needed
- where and when the new infrastructure will be built.
