What is happening
We are changing the routes and days of our rubbish, recycling and food scraps collection services to make sure we are operating at maximum efficiency to deliver the best service we can.
These changes affect properties across Auckland Central, Manukau, east Auckland, Papakura and Franklin from 1 July 2024.

We schedule our collections on a two-week cycle. Your bin day and week may have changed.
Make sure your rubbish, recycling and food scraps bins are placed on the kerbside by 7am on your new collection day, unless we have told you otherwise. The bins should be placed well away from vehicles and other obstacles.
We will continue to collect your:
- recycling fortnightly
- rubbish and food scraps weekly.
Some households will need to put their bins out earlier than normal.
