What to do if you want to continue using bags
If you live in a rural property, you can choose to use council bags to dispose of your rubbish.

ratesfunded@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz with your property address or rates assessment number.
Once you have emailed us, we will deliver to you approximately six months’ worth of bags. This will happen close to the time when our rates-funded collection service starts in your area.
