What the Parks Committee does

This committee provides oversight of our regional parks network and other significant open spaces.

The committee:

• works with the Auckland Domain Committee
• makes recommendations on:
  • regional parks, significant open spaces, beaches and walkways
  • related strategy, policy and community consultations
  • matters relating to Muriwai Beach and the Auckland Botanic Gardens work programme.
