About Franklin Arts Centre
Franklin Arts Centre provides a space for the local Pukekohe community to experience the visual arts.
The centre hosts two gallery spaces for exhibitions, a retail shop featuring local arts and crafts, and a workshop venue.
The New Zealand Steel Gallery is the main exhibition space and shows the work of national, international and local artists.
Exhibitions in the gallery are typically scheduled for six weeks. A feature of the exhibition schedule is ongoing free (or affordable) programme events related to each exhibition.
Franklin Arts Centre is an Auckland Council arts facility, supported by the Franklin Local Board.
