Discount for Responsible Dog Owner Licence (RDOL) holders

​RDOL holders can get a discount on their dog registration fee.

• Existing RDOL holders can get a discount if they renew their dog registration on or before 1 August.
• Non-RDOL holders wanting to get a discount in the upcoming registration period need to apply for a RDOL before April.
• Your RDOL discount will be applied to the next registration year.   
• For dog owners moving to Auckland, we accept a RDOL or equivalent from any New Zealand local authority outside of Auckland.
