Waste Free Parenting
Waste Free Parenting workshops
Learn about your different nappy choices at a Waste Free Parenting workshop.
The workshops will help you gain confidence to try reusables and includes practical advice on:
- which nappies are suitable for your baby
- how to wash cloth nappies
- how to reduce waste in your household.
The sessions are two hours long and registration costs $15 for an individual or couple.
We run some workshops in conjunction with other events, so costs may vary.
Attendees receive a free cloth nappy pack worth $80 - one per family.
For more information including dates, locations and bookings, see the Waste Free with Kate website.
Cloth nappy trial for early childcare centres (ECE)
We encourage ECEs to reduce their waste to landfill by using cloth nappies.
We offer a free eight-week trial that includes the loan of a modern cloth nappy kit, along with advice from a nappy expert, our staff, and other ECEs that have taken part previously.
