Proposal to classify land and grant new community leases at Runciman Reserve, 29R Pitt Rd, Drury

Auckland Council gives notice that it intends, under the Reserves Act 1977, to classify the land at 29R Pitt Road, Drury, and grant a new community ground lease to Runciman Tennis Club Incorporated.

The land, legally described as Lot 1 Deposited Plan 101705, is contained in NA57B/59 and held in fee simple by Auckland Council as an unclassified Recreation Reserve. It is intended to classify this land as a Recreation Reserve.

The tennis club owns the building, courts and other assets on the reserve and leases 1,978sqm (more or less) of the land.

The proposed new community lease is for a term of 10 years with one right of renewal for 10 years, as outlined in Auckland Council's Community Occupancy Guidelines (updated June 2023).
