Cascade walkway

Description of The Cascade Walkway

The walkway runs from Meadowland Drive to Lloyd Elsmore Park in Pakuranga.

If you like bird watching, jogging, walking or exploring, this walkway has plenty to offer.

You can find pine trees and a stream along the way.

From here, you can also visit the Howick Historical Village or catch a game of sport at Lloyd Elsmore Park, Millhouse and Meadowlands Reserves.

Dog access

Under control on walkway. Prohibited on sports fields or near children's playgrounds. Dog must not disturb wildlife or park users.

Suitability

The walkway is suitable for most fitness levels, and most of the path is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Cyclists use this path as well, so be alert.

The path is mostly paved but has some gravel sections. Wear suitable shoes in winter.
