Browns Bay Centre Plan

​Local board led plan

The Hibiscus and Bays Local Board adopted the Browns Bay Centre Plan in September 2016.  Significant progress has been made, including:

• Identifying, consulting and designing gateway markers
• Implementing a shared surface concept for Inverness Road, allowing for farmers markets and special events.

We are still working on:

• Investigating and implementing policy for undergrounding power supply along Beach Road.
• Developing a management plan for the Village Green, enabling various community-building activities.
