About the plan change
The plan change aims to recognise the historic heritage values of eleven historic heritage places (seven individual historic heritage places and four historic heritage area) by adding them to Schedule 14 and the planning maps, thereby making them subject to the provisions of the Historic Heritage Overlay.

In accordance with section 86B (3) of the Resource Management Act, the proposed plan change rules have immediate legal effect.
Submissions close: 29 September 2022.
Summary of Decisions Requested notified on 5 December 2022.
Further submissions period extended and has now closed midnight 20 January 2023.
