You should know

We can issue rubbish dumping and littering fines for:
  • dumping rubbish illegally
  • throwing litter from vehicles
  • material falling off trailers.

You have 28 days to pay your fine.

If you do not pay in this timeframe, we will send you a reminder notice giving you another 28 days to pay the fine.

If you still do not pay after this time, we will lodge an infringement with the Department of Courts. They have the authority to enforce the fine, including extra costs.
