Book a waste minimisation learning session

There is currently one waste minimisation centre in Auckland offering free sessions where you can learn how to minimise your waste.

Zero Waste Zone

The Zero Waste Zone is a fun, hands-on learning centre located at the Waitākere Refuse and Recycling Transfer Station, Henderson.

At the centre, children learn about reducing, reusing and recycling common household items.

They can also learn about recycling food scraps through a range of fun activities.
