3. Check application fees

Fees are non-refundable and are not pro-rated.

These licences cannot be transferred. If you buy an existing business, you must apply for a new licence.

Fees for low risk service

Low risk services are:

  • exfoliation
  • manicure and pedicure
  • sun-beds
  • hair removal.

Single basic service - A single service which is categorised as a risk of breaking or burning skin.$312
Multiple basic services - More than one service which is categorised as a risk of breaking or burning skin.$419

Fees for high risk services

High risk services are:

  • Acupuncture / Cupping / Moxibustion
  • Electrolysis
  • Laser treatment/pulsed light
  • Derma rolling / Stamping
  • Tattooing
  • Body piercing
  • Extractions
  • Red vein treatment
  • Traditional tool tattooing.

Single high-risk service - A single service categorised as piercing the skin, such as acupuncture, body piercing , derma rolling, electrolysis, extractions, red vein treatment, pulse light or laser treatment, stamping, tattooing or traditional tattooing.$508
Multiple high-risk services - More than one service categorised as piercing the skin, like acupuncture, body piercing, derma rolling, electrolysis, extractions, red vein treatment, pulse light or laser treatment, stamping, tattooing/traditional tattooing.$508
